2024 MNFurs Fall Picnic
Hello MNFurs community! Missing Furry Migration, and wish you had another big group of furs to hang out with? Good news: the MNFurs Fall Picnic is upon us! This year’s Fall Picnic is being hosted at Phalen Regional Park at the Phalen Pavilion! Come join your fellow furs on Saturday, October 5th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and let our grillmasters cook you up some grub, and bring a dish to share for the potluck!
Want to help support MNFurs and the picnic? By making a $15 donation, you can receive a limited edition badge featuring artwork from a member of our community, or you can pick up some MNFurs merchandise! We also take direct donations, and accept both cash and credit/debit.
There will be several volunteer opportunities available as well! Volunteering helps us keep events going, as well as gives you hours towards voting in our elections cycle! Volunteer Opportunities available will be:
Grillmaster – We are looking for volunteers to assist in working at the grill. We will have plenty of burgers, brats, & hotdogs to cook. We will want our grill master’s to be ready for lunch and dinner hours.
Pre-Setup & Post-Teardown – We always need volunteers who want to help setup before and after the picnic.
COVID Protocol:
Individuals are responsible for determining what COVID protocols are best for them. This means that masks are not mandatory, and while we strongly recommend vaccinations, they are not required. Individuals are still welcome to wear masks and take other precautions as deemed necessary.
Pet Policy:
If you plan on bringing your pet, they are required to be on a leash at all times, and you are expected to clean up after them. Please exercise caution when it comes to your pet interacting with other pets and other community members. If a pet is unsupervised, creating a significant disruption, or is deemed a nuisance, they may be asked to be removed from the venue in the interest of other attendees comfort and enjoyment of the event.
If you are planning on joining us this year, RSVP to help us know who’s coming! This is important so that we can get a rough count for needed supplies. The picnic this year will be hosted by Kellic.
